Electric Power
The corridor is served by multiple electric utilities including Duke Energy (Gallatin), LG&E and KU (Oldham), Owen Electric Cooperative (Carroll and Owen), and Shelby Energy / EKP Coop (Trimble and Henry). Industrial substations are positioned along the corridor to support manufacturing and high-load users.

Water & Sewer

Infrastructure Expansion Pipeline
KIEDA is actively coordinating with utilities and government partners to expand infrastructure capacity ahead of demand. Current expansion projects include water system upgrades in Carroll and Trimble counties, fiber backbone extension through Owen County, and substation upgrades to support industrial recruitment.
